Questions about our services
Is there a minimum hire time?
Due to the time and cost put into maintaining our vehicles and preparing them for use, and the costs of other overheads, a 3 hour minimum charge generally applies to all hires, particularly on weekends.
You will find all classic car hires generally have a minimum hire.
When does the hiring time begin and end?
The hiring time begins when your chauffeur is booked to arrive at your first pick-up point. The hiring time ends at the time that your chauffeur has dropped off all passengers.
Do you service all areas?
We generally service the Adelaide metropolitan area, some regions of the Adelaide Hills (as far as Mt Barker) and as far north as the Barossa Valley (weekends only).
What’s the usual procedure on the day?
It really comes down to what you prefer. The most common arrangement is to have the car(s) pick up the bride, bridesmaids and bride’s father and drive them to the ceremony venue. Then the bridal party travel in the cars to other photo locations and then to the reception venue.
Time permitting, you can also arrange to have the groom and groomsmen picked up first and then the cars could then pick up the bride and bridesmaids.
Are you licensed and accredited to operate as a chauffeur service?
Yes we are. All of our vehicles are accredited, our chauffeurs are accredited, and we are also accredited to operate hire cars in South Australia.
Do you provide champagne and other refreshments?
Unfortunately, we do not hold a liquor licence so we cannot provide or serve alcoholic beverages. However, we do provide chilled soft drinks and water for our passengers.
Upon request, we may be able to provide or transport an additional esky in which you can store other beverages.
Questions about our cars
Are your cars air-conditioned?
Yes, our Wolseleys have been fitted with custom-designed air-conditioning systems.
How many passengers do the cars seat?
Our Wolseleys seat 4 passengers – three at the back and one at the front.
I’ve noticed that some classic cars are quite small inside. Are your cars the same?
Our vehicles have an advantage over many other classic cars of the era. Our Wolseleys are quite roomy inside and the back seats are set back from the door, giving the passengers much more leg room than many other classic cars of this era. This ensures greater comfort and more room for dresses.
